Editing a Page

Styles and Formatting

In order to provide a consistent Cru design and "look" throughout the entire site, there are limited styling and formatting options available in AEM.

To add a style, take any component from the Cru.core category and look for the paintbrush icon "" in the editor menu as you click on a component.

Due to the nature of how AEM works, some templates may have certain styles for components that other templates do not have. Most styles that we do have available are located on landing page templates and not article templates. Not every component has styles associated with them.

Use the section heads in the format dropdown to divide areas on your page with different heading styles.

For example, this is what the Heading 3 tag (H3) will look like:

Cru's mission is to spread the gospel and make jesus known

Fullscreen editing

For text-based components, selecting the full screen mode from the toolbar will open the rich text editor and hide the rest of the page content.

Fullscreen mode shows all the options of your rich text editor, that are configured by your administrator.  If you find an option missing, ask aem@cru.org about its availability.

Additional rich text editor options include:

  • Anchor : Create an anchor in the text that you can later link to/reference.

  • Align Text Left

  • Center Text

  • Align Text Right

To close the fullscreen mode, click the minimize icon.
