Reflection and Resources

Time to Reflect

Cheryl Boyd
Global Vice President, Digital Strategies

I have a tradition that I look forward to at the end of every year. I sit in my cozy chair with a warm drink, and I reflect on the past 12 months. Why don’t you grab some hot chocolate or lemonade and join me as we thank God for all that he has done with the Digital Download this year?

Our community has grown! We now have 882 members in our Workplace group and 760 people receive this monthly email.

We have heard from leaders from:

  • 6 Regions
  • 11 Countries
  • 9 Ministries

We have talked about:

  • Fresh Starts
  • Defining Digital Strategies
  • Growing in Leadership
  • Learning From Failure
  • Foundations of Digital Strategies
  • Resources for Digital Strategies
  • Centering on Our Audiences
  • Myths of DS
  • Pioneering Into Missional Gaps
  • Artificial Intelligence

As I have the opportunity to spend time with you, I hear stories of how God is using your talents, gifts, prayers, and creativity to radically accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission across all audiences, meeting them where they are by using digital approaches, principles and tools. Whether you have been persevering for years of digital transformation in ministry or you are just getting started, you belong here.

We are merely scratching the surface of what God will do through us as we work together, dependent on the Holy Spirit and interdependently with one another. Merry Christmas to you and your community. I cannot wait to trust God together with you in 2024.

What have you seen God do this year through Digital Strategies in your country? Share your praises on Workplace or WhatsApp!

Together with you,
Cheryl
